Role Description
We are currently seeking a talented Product Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in product design and excellent collaboration skills to work closely with Product managers, front-end engineers, and the marketing team to deliver high-quality designs that meet user needs and business objectives.
The product designer will have a strong impact on how hundreds of large enterprises interact, analyze, and understand insights from Big Data on our SaaS platform. The right candidate for this role will have a portfolio (either online or PDF) which demonstrates strong capabilities in both UX process knowledge and application as well as visual/UI design.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design user-centric product features and enhancements.
- Utilize design frameworks and the latest technologies to accelerate product development and launch processes.
- Independently work on end-to-end design of product features, from concept ideation to high-fidelity wireframing and prototyping.
- Evaluate and recommend innovative design tools and methodologies to optimize design processes and enhance productivity.
- Create and maintain a robust design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across all product design initiatives.
- Develop high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs using industry-standard tools such as Figma.
- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate on designs and improve the overall user experience.
- Present and defend your design decisions based on the overall design roadmap and fundamental design principles (i.e. color theory, visual weight, etc.).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in product design.
- Experience collaborating with front-end developers and shipping clean and performant prototypes.
- Understanding of Figma components and variables; experience working with design systems is a plus.
- Strong portfolio to be presented and defended during the interview.
- Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of UX best practices and trends in the B2B SaaS industry.
- Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3, Javascript will be a plus.
