[Hiring] Credit Risk Analyst @Remote

Role Description
Remote, a company specialising in HR technology, is looking for an experienced and qualified risk/financial analyst to support our Credit Risk strategy.
- Carry out financial assessments on new deals and existing exposures
- Underwrite large exposure accounts
- Conduct portfolio level analysis and development of mitigation strategies
- Work cross-functionally to automate processes and align with Remote’s wider business objectives
Most importantly, the Credit Risk team owns credit losses at Remote and is responsible for driving them to optimal levels while balancing it with high revenue growth.
Qualifications
- Credit risk, corporate finance, or accounting professional with 4+ years experience and proven performance
- Experience with financial statements analysis (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement)
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive successful actions and results
- Communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects in a fast paced, hyper-growth environment
- Writes and speaks fluent English
- Experience with a fintech or start up company considered a plus
Requirements
- Assess new deals and existing exposures and make recommendations to Head of Credit
- Manage and perform credit underwrites for large exposure accounts
- Monitor Remote’s credit risk at a portfolio level and implement strategies to reduce credit exposure and losses
- Work with product and engineering teams to automate credit risk interventions
- Drive down Remote’s credit risk losses as part of the Credit Risk team
