Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage client billing, ensure timely payments, and maintain accurate financial records. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Generate and issue invoices accurately and timely based on client agreements.
- Monitor accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
- Reconcile payments, investigate discrepancies, and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of all AR transactions and update financial reports.
- Collaborate with clients to resolve billing inquiries and disputes.
- Work closely with internal teams to streamline invoicing and collection processes.
- Prepare AR aging reports and provide regular updates to management.
- Assist in process improvements and automation initiatives related to AR.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (experience with QuickBooks or similar tools preferred).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
