Role Description
This role involves owning financial record-keeping, reconciliation, and compliance with financial regulations while supporting the finance team across Saudi, UAE, and Lebanon.
- Record daily financial transactions in accounting software accurately.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Support in processing invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Manage inter-company transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and summaries.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate tracking of financial obligations.
- Assist in tax filing preparation (VAT, withholding tax, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and company policies.
- Support in monitoring budgets and controlling expenses.
- Assist in analyzing financial data for forecasting and decision-making.
- Maintain proper documentation of financial records.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
Qualifications
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting or relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- E-invoicing (FATOORA) knowledge is needed.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles.
- Handling multi-currency accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting and finance software; knowledge of Nexudus and Xero is a plus.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and persuasive skills.
- Knowledge in accounting principles and financial regulations of KSA and UAE.
- Experience working in a remote and cross-functional team.
- Organizational skills and ability to own projects from start to finish.
