Role Description

We are seeking experienced SolidWorks Specialists to contribute to an AI training project. In this role, you will leverage your CAD expertise to complete real-world mechanical design tasks and explain your workflows step by step. Your knowledge will help enhance AI systems' understanding of 3D modeling, mechanical design, and CAD workflows.

Scope of Work

• Create and edit 3D CAD models of mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Work with parametric modeling, sketches, constraints, and feature trees.
• Develop and modify mechanical designs based on technical specifications and requirements.
• Review CAD models for dimensional accuracy, tolerances, and manufacturability.
• Complete advanced CAD modeling tasks and document your workflows step by step.
• Create clear instructions and detailed prompts for mechanical design tasks.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience with SolidWorks.
• Hands-on expertise in 3D parametric CAD modeling and assembly design.
• Good understanding of mechanical design principles, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
• Access to SolidWorks and the ability to record your screen while completing tasks.
• English proficiency of B2 level or higher.
• Ability to clearly communicate and explain technical workflows.

Requirements

• Experience with other CAD software, such as FreeCAD, Fusion 360, or Autodesk Inventor.
• A relevant master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Previous Human Data experience, such as data annotation, RLHF, or AI model evaluation.
• Hands-on experience with CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, or reverse engineering.
