[Hiring] Senior Mechanical Engineer @Fyfe

Role Description

Fyfe is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Energy and Resources team to work on project portfolios across the energy and resources sectors, specifically mining, oil, and gas. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in evaluating the mechanical behaviour and performance of our designs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers and project managers, to ensure that our products meet industry regulations and exceed client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification and relevant technical, commercial experience and demonstrated leadership.
• Typically, 10+ Years experience.
• Possess a strong understanding of ASME B31.3 and AS 2885.
• Experienced with Caesar and Autopipe programs.
• Proficient with EPDECOM.
• General understanding of CP systems.
• Experience within the Australian oil and gas or mining industry preferred (other industry experience also welcomed).
• Strong analytical and technical report writing skills.
• Ability to manage conflicting deadlines and client requirements.
• A strong commitment to client satisfaction and quality work.
• Commitment to Health and Safety in the workplace and the use of safe work systems.
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects.
• Demonstrated team player.
