Role Description

Manning Global is seeking a qualified, independent Open RAN Solution Architect Consultant or specialized service provider to support an upcoming project. This engagement focuses strictly on achieving key milestones as per the SOW.

• Project duration: Open RAN Solution Architect
• Anticipated Project Start: 11/2026
• Project Delivery: Remote - Czech Republic, Prague

Scope of Work:

• Maintain a strong understanding of the customer's market, regulatory environment, and relevant technical industry trends.
• Propose solutions to customer challenges based on the client portfolio, including new solutions with broader market potential.
• Act as the customer advocate to the R&D organization by providing customer requirements and rationale for proposed solutions.
• Drive the technical sales process and lead the design of comprehensive, complex technical solutions that address customer needs.
• Provide consulting and design expertise for complex networking solutions in collaboration with customers.
• Initiate proactive customer engagements with existing and prospective clients alongside the Account Manager.
• Identify and drive up-sell opportunities throughout the engagement process to support sales growth.
• Lead the technical stream for RFI/RFQ/RFP responses, including designing efficient ORAN solutions and required dimensioning.
• Lead cross-functional teams of HQ support personnel as required for project delivery.
• Provide full product line specifications and maintain deep technical knowledge of the RAN portfolio and underlying technologies.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the customer's market, regulatory environment, and technical industry trends.
• Deep knowledge of the evolution of the client's ORAN portfolio and ecosystem, with the ability to propose solutions tailored to customer challenges.
• Proven track record in Consultative Presales, working with telecom operators to evaluate, purchase, and deploy large-scale systems.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical information to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.
• Demonstrated capability to influence customer toward preferred technical solutions.
• Willingness to take ownership and accountability for technical design decisions.
• Engineering degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Mathematics, Telecoms, or a related discipline (or equivalent relevant industrial experience).
• 10+ years of technical experience in the Telecoms industry.
• Experience leading virtual teams in solution definition and technical sales execution, with exceptional presentation and planning skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Mobile Communications Networks, with emphasis on Radio Access Networks (RAN).
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Flexibility for occasional travel within Europe.
