[Hiring] Light Industrial Gas Turbines Manager @NAES

Role Description

The Light Industrial Gas Turbines Manager will oversee the entire spectrum of operations related to the light industrial fleet operations/maintenance and development projects, reporting into the Engineered Performance Strategic Business Unit (SBU). Provide strategic leadership in managing, maintaining, and improving the reliability, program management, vendor relationships and commissioning of light industrial gas turbines. Ensure all facilities operate in compliance with safety, environmental, and industry standards while leading a team of engineers, technicians, and project management staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, energy management or related field from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent.
• Master’s degree in engineering, energy management or related field from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent (preferred).
• 10 years of experience in power generation with five of those years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in managing large-scale/global power generation facilities, projects, manufacturing and/or MRO operations.
• Experience with Solar Gas Turbines including Centaur, Taurus and Titan gas turbines and associated generators.
• Experience with budget management and financial planning in a complex operational environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work effectively with a diverse team and across different functions.
• Strong understanding of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in the power generation industry.

Requirements

• Asset management software and tools used in project and maintenance planning.
• Ability to travel up to 15% is required.
• Normal working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Extended hours may be required based on specific requirements.
• Physical mobility to transverse stairways, ladders, grating, and uneven terrain are essential.
• Ability to see, hear, read, and react to warning signs, lights, and alarms is essential.

Benefits

• The initial salary range is $152,200 to $175,100 based on experience and qualifications.
