[Hiring] Field Service Engineer @Trojan Technologies

Role Description

The Field Service Engineer is the responsible contact person for our customers throughout the entire product life cycle of our solutions. They will visit our customers on site and help them solve various problems, from installation and preventive maintenance to electrical troubleshooting. This position is part of the Field Service Team Europe and will be remote/field-based.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Installation, start-up, warranty, post-warranty, and maintenance for our Municipal and Industrial equipment during the lifecycle of our products.
• Predominantly customer-based tasks including electrical and mechanical service, advanced troubleshooting, training of site personnel, and advising customers and partners to optimize the use of the UV equipment.
• Time allocated to administrative work at your home office.
• Travel within EMEA will be required, spending approximately 80% of your time on customer sites including overnights.

Qualifications

• A post-secondary accreditation in an electrical or electronic discipline.
• Experience in working in a field service role or in an in-house maintenance role within the Water / Wastewater / Industrial area.
• Knowledge and experience of working with PLC.
