[Hiring] Field Service Engineer @Veralto

Role Description

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for maintaining and supporting customer equipment, including installation, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of Videojet devices located at customer sites. This role requires building strong, trusted relationships with customers and providing expert guidance to address their needs.

• Travel throughout the Jefferson City, MO territory to support manufacturing customers, with most work completed during the day and limited overnight travel and/or limited weekend work.
• Provide ongoing care and support for our customer's equipment.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Videojet coding and marking equipment at customer facilities.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues and deliver effective, timely solutions.
• Become a trusted advisor and partner for our customers to develop excellent relationships.
• Extend our Videojet footprint in the market by promoting our service agreements and newer technology.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of technical, mechanical, electrical, or field service experience.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight travel.
• Ability to comply with customer safety requirements, PPE standards, and site access policies.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to safely operate a company vehicle.
• Technical Degree preferred and/or relevant military training; other backgrounds welcome to apply with relevant work history.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, lift, stretch, bend, and squat throughout the day.
• Must be comfortable with day travel and home most evenings; but also occasional overnight travel.

• Technical Agility- Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Computer Hardware and Software; having the desire to work with best-in-class technology and learn new skills.
• Strong Interpersonal skills. Being able to communicate effectively with all levels within an organization, from front line operators to senior management, and remaining professional at all times.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
