Role Description

As an Estimator, you'll support the development of competitive, innovative, and technically sound proposals for utility-scale renewable energy projects. Working alongside Engineering, Integrated Supply Chain, Construction, and Project Management, you'll help develop conceptual electrical solutions that support projects from early opportunity through contract award.

• Review Owner RFPs
• Prepare quantity takeoffs
• Assist with electrical estimates
• Coordinate with Engineers of Record (EOR), utilities, and vendors
• Support estimates for:
  • Collection systems
  • Substations
  • Underground cable systems
  • Utility interconnections
  • SCADA
  • Protection and control systems
  • Other electrical infrastructure
• Contribute to identifying project risks
• Evaluate constructability
• Develop value engineering solutions

Qualifications

• A four-year degree in Construction, Engineering or related field, or combinations of related education and experience required.
• Two or more years of progressive related experience in the renewable construction industry (wind, solar, or battery storage) or four or more years of practical crew based estimating experience in other non-renewable construction industries.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Up to 25% of travel is required.
