[Hiring] Engineering Consultant @Railsware

Role Description

TradeFill is building an audit-first trading platform — combining audit, replay, and execution — designed for prop firms, and serious futures traders. We're looking to bring in a small group of senior engineers and architects to provide short, paid consultations on how to architect our core trading functions.

• 1–2 focused conversations to tap into expertise you've built working on real trading infrastructure.
• We're specifically looking for a range of perspectives from people who've tackled similar problems at different companies.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience (architect, principal engineer, tech lead, head of engineering, or product engineer) at a trading platform such as NinjaTrader, Tradovate, Project X, CQG, Rithmic, or similar.
• Direct hands-on experience with the early or active development stages of such a platform — not just maintaining a mature system.
• Experience across multiple trading platforms/companies is a strong plus.

Requirements

• Architecture of core trading functions, primarily:
• Risk plan configuration & enforcement
• Order management
• Fills & matching
• Market data and events/streaming
