Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Microvellum Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for creating accurate shop drawings, CNC-ready production files, and material documentation for custom millwork and casework projects. The optimal candidate MUST have 5+ years' experience with Microvellum, AutoCAD, and custom millwork construction methods, with the ability to coordinate closely with project managers, engineering, production, and installation teams in a fast-paced environment. This role can be fully remote for the right candidates.

• Develop detailed shop drawings and production drawings using Microvellum and AutoCAD
• Revise drawings based on client comments, field conditions, and engineering reviews
• Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Support continuous improvement of drafting standards and library components
• Assist with troubleshooting production or installation issues when required
• Review project requirements, hardware selections, and construction details
• Create CNC-ready files, cut lists, and material reports for manufacturing
• Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and field dimensions
• Maintain organized project files, schedules, and revision tracking

Qualifications

• Ability to read architectural and shop drawings
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
• Proficiency & experience in AutoCAD with Microvellum software
• Experience in commercial millwork, cabinetry, or woodworking industry preferred
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, attention to detail, organizational skills, along with excellent communication and teamwork skills
