[Hiring] Electrical Journeyman @Hy-Tek

Role Description

The Electrical Journeyman is responsible for the following:

• Installing conduit and field mounted devices and pulling wire.
• Field and panel terminations on 480V, 120V, and 24V systems.
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
• Reading and understanding blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Performing all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Five years hands-on experience or Trade School is preferred.
• Knowledge of conveyor system field devices.
• Ability to operate Forklift, scissor lift, and boom lifts.
• Proficiency in reading drawings and following basic instructions.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Knowledge of safe industrial work practices.

Requirements

• This is a 100% traveling position.
• 50 to 70 hours per week, based on project schedule. Some night work required as needed.
• Standing and walking for long periods of time.
• Occasional climbing on ladders, steps, scaffolding, and/or mezzanines.
• Sitting in and/or driving a vehicle for a long period of time.
• Working in office, warehouse, and manufacturing facilities.
• Possible exposure to noise levels exceeding recommended DBA levels.
