Role Description

The team develops cutting-edge methods and circuit solutions for reducing the energy consumption of battery-powered devices. We focus on creating comprehensive power models and rigorously testing samples at all stages of development. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer who will be a technical pillar and a subject matter expert in low/medium power electronics, analog electronics, and digital electronics. Beyond technical execution, this role involves:

• Shaping the hardware architecture
• Driving complex technical decisions
• Ensuring design for manufacturability (DFM)
• Mentoring mid-level and junior engineers

This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who wants to take ownership of complex, high-impact projects from concept to mass production.

Qualifications

• BS degree or higher in Electronics or related field
• 5+ years of experience designing products in the consumer electronics space
• Practical knowledge of analog / digital circuit design principles, component selection, and cost-schedule optimization strategies
• Deep understanding of electrical engineering standards and specifications
• Experience in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
• Working knowledge of designing mixed-signal hardware schematics and layout using CAD tools
• Experience with high-speed digital electronics design
• Experience working with power harvesting, low power electronics, and battery powered electronics
• Experience solving thermal design challenges and outdoor, weatherproof product design
• Design and troubleshooting skills for power electronics
• Understanding product tradeoffs in the context of user experience
• Good written and spoken English

Requirements

• Nice to have DSP (Digital Signal Processing) or FPGA experience (Verilog/VHDL)
• Experience with Python or LabVIEW for test automation
• Familiarity with RF design basics or wireless communication modules (BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa)
• Knowledge of thermal management in electronics
