[Hiring] Development Engineer Intern @SitelogIQ

Role Description

The Development Engineer Intern is responsible for supporting the project development process, schedule, accuracy, and workflow with a focus on Distributed Generation (DG) projects. DG projects typically include Solar PV systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Daily components of this role include:

• Engineering support
• Coordination of subcontractor RFQs and responses
• Development of technical project cost estimates and proposals
• Supporting documents

The target dates for this role would be April-May 2027, through Mid-August 2027. Employees are expected to be available during normal business hours and to be logged into a group work sharing and communications during those hours. All members of our team are expected to work together in a positive, respectful, and professional manner.

Qualifications

• Working towards undergraduate degree in engineering, environmental studies, or business
• Work experience collaborating with others required
• Basic knowledge and understanding of electrical or power systems
• Experience performing sales liaison and client collaboration in energy or related industries
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Professional communication skills
• Support and participate in continuous process and quality improvement
• Ability to travel up to 30%

Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, phone, and keyboard
• May regularly need to lift up to 20 lbs., unassisted
