Role Description

The Control Systems Engineer supports the design, development, delivery, and continuous improvement of standard and complex control system solutions across mission-critical projects. This role supports the execution of high-quality engineering deliverables while supporting project teams through design, integration, and commissioning phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or other pertinent curriculum combined with relevant technical experience.
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in controls engineering, automation, or control system integration.
• Experience working on complex industrial, life sciences, or mission-critical projects.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of PLC, SCADA, BMS, and EPMS systems (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, Ignition).
• Knowledge of control system design, software development, and complex system integration.
• Ability to work independently on engineering tasks.
• Good understanding of process engineering principles, instrumentation, control panels, and networked systems.
• Able to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and control narratives.
• Able to support commissioning activities including FAT and SAT.
• Demonstrable troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Sound decision-making skills and attention to detail.
