Role Description

• Overall, in charge of engine room operations and maintenance of all machinery
• Ensure safe, efficient operation of main engine, auxiliaries, and electrical systems
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance and repairs
• Monitor fuel consumption, lube oil, and engine performance
• Lead and manage engine crew, assign duties, and conduct training
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Experience in repairs and dry docking is required
• Experience with a multicultural working environment
• Holder of a valid COC (STWC Reg III/2) with verification
• Holder of valid STCW certifications required for the position
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Effective English communication
• Safety culture and mindset

Requirements

• Minimum Experience in Rank 4 months with Engine type (Electronic ME-B or RT Flex of output 8000kw and above)
• Experience with electronic engines is an advantage
• Experience with cargo gear [deck Crane NMF 320MT SWL]
• Trading area [USA, Australia]
