Role Description

Teachers in the Connection Academy are responsible for student engagement in a distance learning environment. They will:

• Provide daily synchronous instruction
• Conduct small group intervention
• Deliver ELD instruction
• Conduct PLP meetings as assigned
• Manage the complete educational experience for each student
• Review student learning
• Create online portfolios
• Proctor assessments
• Create report cards
• Assign grades

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CA Clear Multiple Subject (K-8) Credential
• Must possess a full (ELA1) English Learner Authorization/CLAD Certificate
• The employee is expected to maintain a high-speed internet connection
• All candidates must reside within our service areas, including Riverside, Orange, San Diego, San Bernardino or Los Angeles Counties
