Role Description

Due to increased enrollment, we are seeking a 7/8 teacher for our Connections Academy. This opportunity reflects our ongoing commitment to serving more families while maintaining the high level of support our students deserve.

• Teachers in the Connection Academy are responsible for student engagement in a distance learning environment.
• They will provide daily synchronous instruction.
• Conduct small group intervention and ELD instruction.
• Conduct PLP meetings as assigned.
• Manage the complete educational experience for each student.
• Review student learning and create online portfolios.
• Proctor assessments, create report cards, and assign grades.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CA Clear Multiple Subject (K-8) Credential.
• Must possess a full (ELA1) English Learner Authorization/CLAD Certificate.
• The employee is expected to maintain a high-speed internet connection.
• All candidates must reside within our service areas, including Riverside, Orange, San Diego, San Bernardino or Los Angeles Counties.
