Role Description
The Higher Ed Editorial and Learning Team develops a content and program investment strategy that sets the global standard for relevancy, comprehensiveness, and pedagogical design supported by research. Their work involves:

As a Learning Manager (LM), you will:

Share information, assess, plan, design, and review higher education materials
-
Support new authors to ensure content and learning experiences align with customer needs and Cengageβs strategic vision
-
Inform and/or update author content and pedagogy with universal and portfolio-specific perspectives based on learning theory, currency, and career readiness

Serve as the student journey and discipline-level learning design expert
-
Review new and existing content and update plans against editorial team strategy, quality learning standards, research-based insights, and established protocols
-
Design digital content to fill gaps and seize opportunities for improving learning
-
Design and advocate for improvements in accessibility, equity, and inclusivity
-
Collaborate with authors, subject matter experts, industry partners, and team members throughout the curriculum development process
-
Establish and maintain field tools and guidelines for content creation
-
Support freelance and vendor content creators to ensure content quality and timely delivery
-
Apply emerging learning trends and discipline-specific guidelines to continuously innovate and improve learning designs
Qualifications

3β5 years of full-time work experience, preferably in a corporate environment

Proven dedication to continuous professional improvement, learning, and a growth mindset
