Role Description

The school is seeking a Years 7-9 generalist teacher to commence in Term 1, 2027. The role will focus on literacy and numeracy at a primary curriculum level, along with teaching other subject areas. You will have a strength in building relationships ensuring learning is engaging and relevant.

Qualifications

• Registered (or ability to) with TRBNT and a NT Working With Children check (Ochre card).
• Bachelor's degree in education or equivalent.

• Ability to collaboratively plan, prepare, and deliver teaching and learning programs to meet diverse characteristics, needs, and learning styles of students.
• Knowledge of and ability to implement effective and inclusive teaching and learning processes, including the use of learning technology and assessment.
• Ability to differentiate for a variety of needs.
• Ability to communicate and relate effectively with students, staff, and families through appropriate interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan and apply appropriate behaviour management strategies that contribute to establishing and maintaining a supportive learning environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and members of the local school community.
• Commitment to maintain current and relevant professional learning and meet Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Ability to build relationships and listen to the needs of the students, school, and community.
• Manual driver's licence.

• Salary between $95,525 - $142,888 plus super (2027 salary).
• Annual remote allowances of $9,894, paid pro-rata fortnightly with salary; $11,836 with dependents.
