Role Description

HelloKid is a 12-year online education brand based in China. We take care of all student sourcing, ensuring zero stress for teachers. Our focus is on long-lasting student-teacher partnerships, with learners staying with us for up to 9 years, and some keeping the same tutor for 6 years. Our supportive colleagues will go all out to help you resolve any issues you may encounter. We place great emphasis on training and value employee career growth and planning.

Qualifications

• Speaks English at an idiomatic level
• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience
• Teaching certificate required: TEFL/TESOL/CELTA or equivalent
• Passion for teaching young learners aged 4-16
• Open 4-6 days per week with at least 14 fixed peak-time hours
• Peak time: 6:00 PM-9:30 PM Beijing Time, Monday to Sunday; one weekend day included if only work 4 days weekly
• Stable computer: Intel Core i5 or above, CPU benchmark score 4000+
• Reliable high-speed internet: at least 10 Mbps upload and 30 Mbps download

Requirements

• Patient, warm, and energetic about teaching young kids aged 4-16
• Keep classes fun, lively, and supportive — no boring drills
• Follow our ready-made lesson plans and interactive teaching materials
• A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience is required with a teaching certificate
