Role Description

Leland is seeking an experienced music coach to work with students pursuing careers or serious growth in music. This role includes:

• Teaching music theory, songwriting, and performance techniques
• Guiding students through music production
• Helping students build their craft through consistent, focused skill building
• Supporting the professional side of a music career, including:
  • Resume review
  • Interview prep
  • Salary negotiation for students pursuing roles in the industry
  • Freelancing, music marketing, and networking strategy for students building an independent artistic career

Ideal candidates have:

• Professional experience as a musician, producer, or industry professional
• Prior teaching or coaching experience
• A clear, structured approach to breaking down both technical and creative concepts

Coaches set their own hours and rates, host sessions virtually, and partner with our team to deliver a high-quality, supportive experience for every student.
