Role Description
This role serves as the strategic leader for the Revenue Operations Training Center of Excellence, responsible for establishing enterprise learning standards, instructional design methodologies, measurement frameworks, training technology enablement, and capability development strategies. The position drives consistency and scalability across decentralized training teams by providing governance, consultation, tools, and resources that improve learning effectiveness and business performance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Center of Excellence (CoE) Leadership:

Establish and lead the ROPS Training CoE, creating an organization that consults with and supports lane-specific training teams to drive effectiveness and high performance.

Design foundational training programs for new teammates focused on essential DaVita and ROPS-specific systems and processes.

Provide heavy design support and consultation for urgent lane-specific initiatives, such as comprehensive onboarding re-designs (e.g., IMT, Registration) and complex issue-based learning for tenured teams.

Establish and maintain enterprise learning standards, development methodologies, and quality assurance frameworks across Revenue Operations.

Establish and lead the ROPS Learning Community of Practice to promote collaboration, innovation, knowledge sharing, capability development, and adoption of enterprise learning standards.

Provide expert consultation and coaching to lane-based training teams on instructional design, content development, delivery techniques, and learner assessment.

Create and manage a curated resource hub with training templates, standardized materials, and documented best practices for all ROPS training teams to implement.

Collaboration & Partnership:

Foster strong, collaborative partnerships with leaders of the various ROPS lane-based training teams to understand their unique needs and drive strategic alignment.

Partner with teams to conduct needs analyses, identify skill gaps, and determine training priorities that support both lane-specific and broader ROPS objectives.

Innovation & Strategy:

Evaluate, implement, and optimize learning technologies that improve content development, delivery, knowledge management, and learner experience.

Partner with enterprise learning and technology teams to pilot emerging solutions, including AI-enabled learning tools.

Lead initiatives for upskilling and innovation in the learning and development space, including testing and implementing new technologies.

Evaluate existing and proposed training programs across ROPS to ensure quality, consistency, and effectiveness.

Develop a comprehensive learning measurement strategy including learner adoption, proficiency, operational performance outcomes, and business impact indicators.

Develop systems training for new teammates to effectively learn DaVita and ROPS specific revenue cycle systems and applications.

Maintain current knowledge of internal business processes, support technology, and external trends in talent development to continuously improve our training strategy.

Team Leadership:
-
Provide leadership, coaching, and development to direct reports and ROPS training teammates as needed.

Manage all teammate employment activity, including hiring, performance evaluations, and development, with appropriate approvals as required.

Manage project budgets and resources effectively, providing proactive updates to project sponsors and key stakeholders.

Travel required: up to 15%.
Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or a combination of education and progressively responsible work experience.

Minimum of three (3) years of supervision or management experience required.

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in instructional design, development, and delivery required.

Experience with learning analytics, ROI evaluation methodologies, and designing capability assessments.

Preferred experience with piloting AI assistants or AI-supported curriculum design tools.

Minimum of three (3) yearsโ experience in Project Management required.

Demonstrated experience in coaching, mentoring, or developing other training professionals.

Proven ability to lead collaborative efforts and build strong partnerships and consultative training model across a decentralized organization.

Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Suite applications.

Intermediate proficiency in modern authoring tools and graphic design programs (e.g., Captivate, Articulate Storyline, or comparable programs) preferred.
