Role Description

This role supports the scaling of IDC’s Learning Engineering and Solutions team during a critical period of enterprise transformation. The contractor will contribute to the development, maintenance, and scaling of enablement content, while also supporting operational improvements tied to the Unified Learning Experience initiative. This includes:

• Strengthening content organization
• Repository management
• Overall learning platform hygiene to ensure content is accurate, accessible, and structured for future scalability

This role is essential to stabilizing throughput, reducing training debt, improving content governance, and ensuring that learning assets and data are well-organized, properly documented, and prepared for ongoing transformation efforts across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in instructional design or training content development
• Instructional Design certification is a plus but not required

Requirements

• Proficiency in template design using tools such as Canva, with the ability to build reusable, on-brand templates across multiple platforms
• Familiarity with video editing tools such as Camtasia and VideoScribe
• Familiarity with SCORM authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Rise
• Working knowledge of AI tools used for training and content development, including tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Synthesia, and ElevenLabs
• Fast learner with strong critical thinking skills
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in execution
• Excellent communication skills, with strong comprehension and ability to follow structured instructions
