Role Description

Due to expanding enrollment, we are seeking a dynamic high school English teacher with a skill for teaching and supporting students through personalized learning and strong academic mentorship.

Teachers in the Connection Academy are responsible for student engagement in a distance learning environment. They will:

• Provide daily synchronous instruction
• Conduct small group intervention
• Deliver ELD instruction
• Conduct PLP meetings as assigned
• Manage the complete educational experience for each student
• Review student learning
• Create online portfolios
• Proctor assessments
• Create report cards
• Assign grades

Qualifications

• Applicant must possess a valid California Clear Single Subject Teaching Credential - English
• Prior online teaching experience preferred
• Teaching experience with 9-12 highly desirable
• Experience with Charter Schools a plus
• All candidates must reside within our service areas, including Riverside, Orange, San Diego, San Bernardino or Los Angeles Counties
