[Hiring] German Language Trainer @Startupistan Impact Ventures gUG

Role Description

We are currently looking for passionate and experienced German Language Trainers to teach German from A1 to C1 level based on the CEFR framework.

• Deliver engaging German language classes (A1–C1)
• Teach according to CEFR standards
• Prepare students for real-life communication and language exams
• Adapt lessons to different learning styles and cultural backgrounds
• Track student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Conduct classes online and/or on-site in Berlin
• Create a positive and motivating learning environment

Qualifications

• Experience teaching German as a foreign language (DaF/DaZ)
• Strong understanding of CEFR-based teaching methodologies
• Ability to teach across multiple levels from A1 to C1
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Comfortable using online teaching tools and digital platforms
• Native or near-native German proficiency

Requirements

• TELC examiner certification or TELC preparation experience (Nice to Have)
• BAMF approval (Nice to Have)
• Experience teaching healthcare or professional German (Nice to Have)
• Experience with online/hybrid learning formats (Nice to Have)
