Role Description

The Early Care and Education Projects (ECEP) Family Child Care Coach will support ECEP in fulfilling its mission to educate, connect, and equip early childhood professionals by advancing the work of the Family Child Care Network (FCCN). This position provides relationship-based support, including training, technical assistance, and coaching, to family child care providers in an assigned region of Arkansas, while contributing to statewide network efforts as needed.

Regular and reliable attendance is expected, as is the ability to build and maintain collegial working relationships. This is a one-year appointment, renewable based on the need for the position, funding availability, and satisfactory performance. This is a remote position that will service Southwest Arkansas.

Qualifications

• CDA credential or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a closely related field from an accredited institution of higher education
• At least three years of experience providing direct services to children and families within the child care community
• At least three years of experience in early childhood programs, with knowledge of state licensing regulations and quality improvement systems preferred
• Experience with technology and Microsoft Office Applications

• Residency Requirement: Applicants must currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to, one of the counties served by this position
• Assigned Service Area: This position will serve the following counties in the State of Arkansas: Polk, Montgomery, Sevier, Howard, Little River, Miller, Hempstead, Nevada, Lafayette, Pike, Clark, Hot Spring, Dallas, Ouachita, Calhoun, Columbia, and Union
• Pre-employment Screening Requirements: Child Maltreatment, Criminal Background Check, Motor Vehicle Reports Check, Sex Offender Registry
