You will engage, guide & lead the management, delivery and continuity of our academic nursing program. Build and empower a high-performing faculty and academic support team. Ensure curricula are current and consistently delivered to meet the college's objectives, while driving student success through data-informed strategies and maintaining full compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Responsibilities

Provides academic leadership within the faculty for the development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the BSN curriculum, ensuring alignment with the University’s academic strategy, curriculum standards, program outcomes, and applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Execute the BSN academic strategy with a focus on driving strong student outcomes (NCLEX pass rates, persistence, graduation, and student satisfaction).

Ensure curriculum delivery meets institutional standards and accreditation benchmarks through rigorous evaluation and continuous improvement.

Lead and support faculty development, mentoring, evaluation, and performance review processes in accordance with University policies and applicable academic, regulatory, and accreditation standards; identify professional development needs and implement strategies to strengthen faculty effectiveness and student learning outcomes.

Oversee hiring, onboarding, development, scheduling, performance and retention of faculty and associate deans with accountability for teaching excellence.

Participate in and make recommendations regarding faculty appointment, promotion, tenure, retention, and other faculty employment decisions in accordance with University policies, established academic criteria, and applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Embed Chamberlain Care principles and Covista culture expectations into academic operations and support services. Fosters and maintains an environment conducive to effective teaching, learning, faculty engagement, and student success by modeling a care-based leadership approach and promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

Manage academic operations with national support teams and budgets, faculty workload models, and instructional resources.

Serve as a liaison between the campus/BSN academic program, central administration, national academic teams, and other University units to facilitate effective communication, coordination, implementation of academic priorities, and resolution of issues affecting program delivery and student success.

Develop and maintain effective relationships with central administration, other academic program administrators, clinical agencies and partners, professional organizations, and appropriate local, state, regional, and national regulatory and accrediting agencies. Represent Chamberlain University positively and professionally within these relationships and the broader nursing and academic communities.

Ensure program-level compliance with applicable regulatory, statutory, and accreditation requirements in collaboration with Accreditation and Professional Regulation (APR) and other University teams. Serve as a liaison with applicable state boards of nursing and other regulatory agencies as designated, and implement required programmatic actions to maintain compliance.

Lead program expansion and new academic initiatives with agility and vision, responding to evolving healthcare education needs.

Has authority to oversee the admission, academic progression and graduation of students.

Qualifications
-
Master's Degree in nursing Required and Doctoral degree Preferred.

5+ years experience in nursing education with at least 3 years in a leadership role Required.

Strong interpersonal, organizational, conflict resolution and computer skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Current unencumbered licensure as an RN and/or a multi-state privilege to practice nursing in the Commonwealth/State Required.
