[Hiring] Adjunct Faculty - Speech Instructor @Black Hawk College

Role Description

To provide appropriate classroom, clinical, or other instruction as assigned.

• Encourage learning by preparing appropriate syllabi.
• Develop lectures, discussions, and other presentations or activities to enhance the students' educational experience.
• Develop and execute appropriate methods of evaluating students' performance.
• Work with the library to maintain appropriate materials for the course(s).
• Develop, secure, and maintain the equipment and other instructional materials essential to the presentation of the classroom material.

Qualifications

• M.A. or M.S. in anthropology required.
• Academic preparation to instruct both anthropology and archaeology courses.
• Successful college-level teaching experience preferred.
• Demonstrated oral English proficiency for classroom instruction.

• Minimum starting pay for adjunct faculty:
• Less Than a Master's Degree = $739.16 per equated hour
• Master's Degree = $862.35 per equated hour
• Doctorate = $923.95 per equated hour
