[Hiring] Adjunct Faculty: Human Services @GEORGIA MILITARY COLLEGE

Role Description

GMC Online is now hiring adjunct professors in the following discipline: Human Services.

• Applicants who are credentialed to teach more than one discipline are preferred.
• Other disciplines considered include Psychology, Sociology, and Social Work.
• Contracts are for 8 weeks, renewable upon availability of classes and satisfactory job performance.
• The application review process will commence immediately and will continue until the necessary positions have been filled.
• Applicants must provide the following documents:
  • Letter of interest
  • Current resume or CV
  • Three letters of reference
  • Statement of teaching philosophy
  • Copy of unofficial transcripts
• If hired, an official copy of transcripts related to the teaching position(s) will be required.
• Criminal background check and drug screen must be cleared before any candidate may begin working.
• Due to business restrictions in place for the state of California, New York, and New Jersey, GMC is unable to accept applications from candidates who reside and work in these states.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher specifically in Human Services. (Note: Degrees in adjacent or related fields such as Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy do not meet this specific requirement).
• Proficient in the use of technology, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to maintain an appropriate and functional workspace, including necessary office furniture and equipment such as a desk/workspace, chair, monitor(s), and other basic home office needs.
