[Hiring] Senior Site Reliability Engineer @RateGain

Role Description

To support RateGain’s DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering practices by helping engineering teams build, deploy, and operate secure, reliable, and scalable applications. This role focuses on hands-on CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, automation, monitoring, and production support while continuously improving engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines used for application build, testing, and deployment
• Work with engineering teams to adopt consistent DevOps practices and improve development and release workflows
• Assist in automating repetitive deployment and operational activities to improve engineering efficiency
• Maintain clear technical documentation for deployment processes, infrastructure configurations, and operational procedures
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and work closely with platform and application engineering teams on DevOps/SRE tasks
• Work with cloud infrastructure and services across major cloud platforms, with GCP preferred
• Support infrastructure provisioning and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and related tools
• Monitor production systems and support troubleshooting of deployment, performance, and reliability issues
• Respond to production incidents as part of defined support and escalation processes
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and platform teams to support reliable and efficient releases

• Successful and timely execution of application builds and deployments
• Reduction in deployment-related errors and recurring operational issues
• Improvement in CI/CD pipeline efficiency and automation coverage
• Growth in Infrastructure as Code adoption for assigned environments and services
• Enhanced monitoring and alerting coverage for supported applications and infrastructure
• Timely response and resolution of assigned production incidents and support requests
• Adherence to cloud security, access, configuration, and operational standards
• Increased automation of routine build, deployment, and operational activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field
• 4–5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or Production Support
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure (GCP preferred)
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools, automated build/deployment processes, and source control workflows
• Familiarity with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code and configuration automation tools
• Strong understanding of Linux, networking fundamentals, scripting, and production troubleshooting
• Exposure to monitoring, logging, and observability tools
• Basic understanding of cloud security, access management, disaster recovery, and infrastructure cost awareness
