Role Description
We're looking for a Systems Engineer, to collaborate with agile squads to revolutionize release engineering, hone test frameworks alongside QA, and champion automation across k8s, AWS, all while leveraging your expertise in Github actions, (C)Go with Linux, or packaging to drive innovation in SaaS and on-prem security.
- Working closely with QA to develop solid test frameworks
- Release engineering and associated infrastructure
- Platform engineering tooling
- Developing, championing and embedding best in class frameworks and practices into our squads via a consultative approach
- Automation for k8s, AWS and DO assets
Qualifications
- At least 2 of the following specialized skills:
- Github actions
- (C)Go development with Linux toolchain
- Packaging (rpm, deb)
- General skills:
- Configuration management (Ansible, cloud-init, etc.)
- IaaS providers (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- IaC (terraform, helm, etc.)
- Container orchestration and development (k8s, rancher, etc.)
- Writing in English proficiently
- Cross-team collaboration skills & stakeholder management skills
- Communication skills to engage at various skill levels
- Supporting agile squads with processes and automation
