Role Description

We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Part-Time IT Administrator to help support our globally distributed team. You’ll play a key role in managing Google Workspace, handling user lifecycle tasks, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations across time zones.

  • Manage onboarding and offboarding of users in Google Workspace and other internal tools.
  • Create and configure user accounts, assign licenses, and add to appropriate groups or shared drives.
  • Set up user accounts and organization units (OU), assign users to groups.
  • Provision and revoke access to third-party SaaS tools (e.g. Slack, Zoom, etc.).
  • Transfer ownership of files, calendar events, and manage shared drive access.
  • Configure email routing and mail forwarding as needed.
  • Use the Google Workspace Security Investigation Tool to monitor and respond to account or email-related issues.
  • Archive or export data when necessary (e.g. email, Drive, etc.).
  • Maintain IT documentation, access control records, and license audits.
  • Manage the wipe and return of user devices.
  • Help identify opportunities to automate or streamline repetitive admin tasks.
  • Provide general IT support to internal users and escalate issues as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace Admin Console.
