Role Description

GitLab Administrator – Contingent Pipeline Opportunity – We’re building a talent pipeline for upcoming U.S. Government defense IT and analytics support roles. Opportunities are contingent upon task order awards and funding under existing contracts.

• Administer and maintain GitLab for version control and repository management
• Configure and manage CI CD pipelines to support secure DevSecOps workflows
• Manage user access, roles, and permissions
• Enforce repository standards and code management best practices
• Support integration with automated testing and deployment frameworks
• Monitor system performance and resolve platform issues
• Automate routine processes to improve efficiency and reliability
• Support software development teams with configuration and troubleshooting
• Maintain secure software configuration management practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field
• OR 5 (five) years of equivalent experience in GitLab administration
• Experience managing Git repositories in a team environment
• Experience building and maintaining CI CD pipelines
• Experience implementing secure DevSecOps practices
• Experience managing access control policies and permissions
• Strong troubleshooting and automation skills

Requirements

• Experience supporting federal or regulated environments
• Experience integrating GitLab with Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms
• Experience implementing automated testing frameworks
• Experience supporting Agile development teams

Certifications

• Required: None
• Preferred: GitLab Certified Associate, Certified Kubernetes Administrator CKA
