Role Description
Your mission at Odds Scanner is to expand our team in Lisbon by hiring a highly skilled DevOps Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure solutions.
- Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines
- Automate workflows and enhance system performance
- Strong background in cloud platforms, infrastructure as code (IaC), and DevOps best practices
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery processes
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar to automate infrastructure management
- Monitor system performance, identify and resolve issues, and optimize resource use
- Automate administrative tasks using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
- Collaborate with developers to refine and improve application deployment strategies
- Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance standards
- Manage containerized environments using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Set up and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack
- Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of systems
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of work experience, with at least 3 of those as a DevOps Engineer
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with Linux
- Experience with containerization (such as Docker or similar) and orchestration (such as Kubernetes, Openshift or similar)
- Proficiency in Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure and/or GCP)
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab CI, and/or ArgoCD)
- Hands-on experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible or similar tools
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python or PowerShell
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog)
- Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and compliance standards
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab)
- Experience working in Agile and DevSecOps environments
