Role Description

Reporting to the Lead Solutions Architect, this position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the IT infrastructure as well as performing specialized IT functions.

• Responsible for designing, deploying, administering, and supporting secure cloud and productivity platforms across Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Builds, configures, analyzes, tunes, and troubleshoots Windows operating systems and workloads hosted in cloud IaaS environments, ensuring alignment with approved architectural designs and enterprise security standards.
• Administers Microsoft 365 services through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, including:
  • User and group lifecycle management
  • Licensing
  • Service health monitoring
  • Tenant configuration
• Manages identity, authentication, and access controls using Microsoft Entra, implementing:
  • Conditional Access
  • MFA
  • Role-based access control
  • Hybrid identity integrations
• Configures and maintains endpoint management and security using Microsoft Intune, enforcing:
  • Device compliance
  • Application protection
  • Configuration policies for Windows and mobile platforms
• Supports the deployment and ongoing management of virtual machines and web applications through the Azure Portal and PowerShell automation.
• Provides administration and support for Dynamics 365 Sales Online, including:
  • Environment management
  • Security role configuration
  • User access
  • Coordination with business stakeholders
• Oversees Power Platform environments, applying governance and data loss prevention policies, and develops or supports Power Apps and Power Automate solutions to improve operational efficiency and system integration.
• Performs day-to-day maintenance of cloud infrastructure, including:
  • Servers
  • Networks
  • Routing
  • Firewall rules
  • Remote access
  • Security controls
  • Monitoring
  • Cloud-to-cloud backup solutions
• Continuously monitors system performance and resource utilization, recommending and implementing enhancements to improve availability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Produces and maintains clear, accurate documentation of systems architecture, configurations, standards, and operational procedures for users, support teams, consultants, and developers, ensuring knowledge transfer, audit readiness, and long-term maintainability.

Qualifications

• A university degree or equivalent relevant education
• 3-5 years of related job experience
• Microsoft 365 and/or Azure certification is preferred
