Role Description

The Cloud and Network Engineer will support on-prem to cloud migration projects, network administration, and ongoing infrastructure maintenance. The role requires a blend of development or scripting experience, strong networking fundamentals, and hands-on cloud knowledge. The engineer will work closely with the client's IT team to support project-based and operational needs.

• Assist with migrating on-prem workloads and applications to cloud environments
• Manage and maintain network infrastructure across headquarters and retail sites
• Support firewall configuration, routing, switching, VPNs, and network security
• Perform scripting or light development work to automate infrastructure tasks
• Troubleshoot network, server, and cloud-related issues
• Configure and maintain cloud resources including virtual machines, storage, identity, and security settings
• Monitor system performance and ensure availability across environments
• Create and maintain internal documentation for processes, configurations, and changes
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support IT projects and operational improvements

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience
• Background in cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, and VPNs
• Experience supporting both on-prem and cloud environments
• Scripting experience using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar
• Familiarity with identity management and cloud security best practices
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues
• Four-year college degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Azure or AWS for cloud migration
• Firewall platforms, routing, switching for network work
• Windows and Linux servers for mixed environments
• Scripting languages for automation
• Monitoring tools for infrastructure support
• Clear verbal and written communication
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate with distributed teams

Requirements

• Project-based Employment
• Onsite onboarding for two to four weeks, followed by a transition to a remote setup
• Night Shift (Following U.S. Eastern Time Zone)
• Location: Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City
