[Hiring] Website Building Specialist @Leap Tools

Role Description

We’re looking for a skilled and creative Website Building Specialist to join our team to help build user-friendly custom websites for small, independent retailers in the flooring and home improvement space. You will be responsible for:

• Building and customizing websites for our customers using WordPress, ensuring they are responsive, accessible, and user-friendly.
• Updating WordPress core, themes, and plugins to ensure website security, performance, and compatibility.
• Designing and building custom elements and plugins to enhance website functionality and deliver unique experiences.
• Collaborating with the design team to implement creative and functional website designs while ensuring they are responsive and optimized for mobile devices.
• Identifying and fixing bugs, errors, and performance issues across websites, performing regular checks to ensure the websites are running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing websites using WordPress.
• Experience with WordPress themes and plugins, including custom development and troubleshooting.
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first principles.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, well-tested websites.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.

Requirements
