[Hiring] Visual Designer @Aya Healthcare

Role Description

Join Aya Healthcare, winner of multiple Top Workplace awards! We are seeking a talented mid-level designer fluent in branding and design to join our team and help build out the Aya digital experience. As a visual designer, you will play a critical role in creating and maintaining intuitive and visually appealing designs across branding, presentations, collateral, and beyond. This role will primarily work PST hours.

Responsibilities

• Design marketing and automated email templates in HubSpot.
• Maintain and update design systems for email and PowerPoint templates across our brands.
• Work with project/product managers, stakeholders, and developers to define project goals, requirements, and timelines.
• Make layout changes based on user feedback, stakeholder needs, and industry standards.
• Follow, update, and maintain style guidelines and asset libraries.
• Translate complex concepts into beautiful and easy-to-understand graphics, ranging from simple representations to animated visual stories.
• Create best-in-class design language, focusing on details from typography to data visualizations.
• Create better experiences utilizing storytelling and collaboration to bring keynotes and decks to life, partnering with product experts, content writers, designers, and speakers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience as a brand designer or a similar role.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, HubSpot, Miro, HTML, and MS365.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and a11y best practices.
• Strong visual design skills with an eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
• Strong experience designing decks in PowerPoint, Keynote, or Google Slides.
• Experience with email marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present design concepts to stakeholders.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple projects.
• Staying up to date with industry trends, software, and best practices in design and applying them to enhance our products.

Compensation

Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be $40.86 to $45.67, which equates to $85,000 to $95,000 annually. The pay scale may vary if the applicant possesses experience outside of what Aya reasonably anticipates for this position. Bonuses are subject to the role and your manager’s discretion.
