Role Description

Designers at Thoughtworks creatively solve the right problems. We work collaboratively to deliver bespoke software and take on the most challenging problems our clients have.

  • Create visually appealing designs that are functional and user-centered, accessible, and contribute to product branding and visual identity.
  • Collaborate with your team to refine designs based on feedback from research and testing.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure your designs are accurately implemented, accessible, and functional.
  • Participate in design workshops and brainstorming sessions, providing input on visual and UI design.

Qualifications

  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of visual design principles such as color theory, layout, accessibility, and typography.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually engaging, usable, and accessible designs.
  • Experience working with prototyping tools and a willingness to iterate based on feedback.
  • Professional Skills:
  • You enjoy working in agile, cross-functional teams of designers and technologists and you’re capable of planning and managing your visual deliverables.
  • You’re intrigued by complex challenges and can translate them into clean, effective design solutions.
  • You’re a clear communicator and can explain the business impact of your design choices to stakeholders in a way they can easily understand.
  • You have a collaborative mindset and enjoy sharing your visual design knowledge with teammates, contributing to a supportive learning environment.
  • Please share a portfolio link that showcases your expertise in digital products – ideally both web and mobile.
