Under the direction of the Vice President of Marketing and working closely with our in-house video and design team, this role will help create new video content that brings C&F's products, people and culture to life across YouTube, LinkedIn, our websites and internal channels.
This is a learning role. You will be given real projects, real deadlines and real feedback, and you will leave with published work for your portfolio and a clear picture of how video supports a marketing strategy in a regulated industry. -
Produce versions in multiple aspect ratios and export to the correct specs for YouTube, LinkedIn, the website and internal channels
-
Refresh existing videos with current branding and disclaimers
-
Add captions, subtitles and on-screen text for accessibility, and quality check closed captions
-
Apply C&F brand guidelines consistently (fonts, colors, logo usage)
-
Tag/catalog materials so the team can quickly find footage, sound bites, and branded elements
-
Assist with in-person and remote shoots at offices and events (this is not a requirement but is open to you if you are local and your schedule permits)
-
Help develop repeatable video series the team can sustain (for example, "60 seconds with an expert," market insights, event recaps, product spotlights)
-
Participate in brainstorms and pitch video concepts that support C&F initiatives β we love new ideas and welcome your input!
Qualifications
-
Genuine enthusiasm for video storytelling and a desire to learn how video works inside a corporate marketing team
-
A portfolio or reel that shows your editing and motion graphics work (class projects, personal projects, club or freelance work are all welcome)
-
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-
Ability to manage your time and meet deadlines while balancing coursework
-
Good communication skills; comfortable asking questions and giving status updates
-
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and as part of a team
-
Experience creating content for YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram or TikTok is a plus
-
Insurance industry knowledge is not required
