Role Description

We’re seeking a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our fast-growing creative team. This full-time remote position sits at the intersection of Marketing and Branding and plays a key role in creating dynamic, professional video content for digital advertising, social media, and brand storytelling.

We’re looking for more than a great editor. We want someone who is constantly exploring better, faster, and smarter ways to create.

The ideal candidate combines strong creative instincts and traditional editing expertise with hands-on experience using AI to improve production workflows, increase efficiency, and expand creative output without sacrificing originality, craftsmanship, or the personal creative touch that makes great content stand out.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Marketing Content Creation:
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to edit high-performing video content for paid digital campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms.
  • Create attention-grabbing content designed specifically for digital audiences, balancing performance marketing objectives with strong creative execution.
• Branding Content Creation:
  • Collaborate with the Branding team to create polished video content for our website, YouTube library, social media, provider materials, presentations, campaigns, and other brand initiatives.
  • Help continually evolve the look, feel, pacing, and creative language of StemWave video content.
• AI Workflow & Production Innovation:
  • Actively identify opportunities to improve our video production pipeline through AI, automation, new software, and emerging creative technologies.
  • Research, test, and implement tools and workflows that can reduce repetitive work, shorten production timelines, and allow the creative team to produce more without lowering our standards.
  • Share new tools, techniques, and workflows with the broader creative team and help determine where they can meaningfully increase efficiency and output.

Qualifications

• Professional video editing experience with a strong portfolio of polished work.
• Excellent understanding of pacing, storytelling, composition, and visual hierarchy.
• Strong motion graphics and design skills.
• Strong understanding of sound design and how audio contributes to an edit.
• Experience editing content specifically for digital and social platforms.
• Proficiency with professional video editing software and the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Hands-on experience incorporating AI tools into professional video editing or post-production workflows.
• Demonstrated curiosity around emerging creative technology and a track record of independently researching and testing new tools and workflows.
• Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality or attention to detail.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Adobe After Effects.
• Motion graphics and animation.
• Green screen removal.
• Compositing.
• Advanced sound design.
• Color correction and grading.
• AI-assisted post-production workflows.
• Workflow automation.
• Experience developing or optimizing high-volume creative production pipelines.
• Familiarity with emerging generative video, image, audio, and post-production technologies.

Compensation

Starting at $8/hr. At StemWave, we want talented creatives to be able to build a career, not simply hold a position. Our Creative Team operates on a defined seven-level career ladder, with opportunities to progress from Junior Creative to Chief Creative.
