Role Description

Roar Apex is looking for a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team and craft compelling content for various requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of engagement best practices, editing techniques, and the ability to create scroll-stopping content across multiple verticals.

  • Edit short-form direct response social media ads across various verticals, ensuring weekly delivery goals are met.
  • Implement engagement best practices to create highly watchable and thumb-stopping content.
  • Address creative and technical feedback quickly and accurately.
  • Adapt to ever-changing priorities, pivoting efficiently as needed.
  • Enhance footage using graphics, color correction, AI tools, and cutting-edge editing techniques.
  • Collaborate with producers and strategists to ensure high-quality output and communicate any blockers or delays proactively.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of experience as a video editor in a fast-paced digital marketing environment.
  • Strong portfolio/reel showcasing expertise in social media and direct response marketing video editing.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is required.
  • Strong skills in color correction (Lumetri panel in Premiere Pro).
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) will be an added advantage.
  • Strong English communication skills for seamless collaboration.
  • Experience editing videos specifically for direct response marketing is a plus.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current social media trends and how they impact video engagement.
  • Candidates having video editing experience with user generated content (UGC) are preferred for this role.

Requirements

  • Access to a computer capable of managing 4K video and animation projects with up-to-date versions of Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Webcam for virtual meetings and team collaboration.
