Role Description

The Studio is Fetch’s internal creative engine—responsible for photography, animation, videography, illustration, our marketing website, and branding company-wide. From creative direction to production, our goal is to deliver a compelling and engaging experience that our users (and partners) love and can’t live without.

Fetch is looking for an experienced UX/UI Web Designer to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for shaping the user experience across Fetch’s marketing site, ensuring both the B2C and B2B sections are intuitive, high-performing, and visually stunning. You will collaborate with the Growth team to implement SEO best practices through thoughtful design, intuitive layouts, and optimized user flows. You’ll work cross-functionally with Growth, Create Den, and Product Design to refine the website, enhance engagement, and ensure seamless integration with Fetch’s broader design ecosystem.

This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US offices or remotely in the United States.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, web design, or a related field.
  • A portfolio of work demonstrating web experiences you’ve successfully designed and launched, showcasing your impact on usability, aesthetics, and business goals.
  • Expertise in designing responsive web experiences that are SEO-friendly and highly functional.
  • Strong UI design skills, with a keen eye for layout, typography, hierarchy, and interaction patterns that enhance usability and engagement.
  • Proficiency in Figma for wireframing and prototyping.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, accessibility standards, and user-centered design best practices.
  • Experience working within a design system and contributing to its expansion, particularly for web-specific components.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (coding experience is a plus, but not required).
  • A solid grasp of SEO principles, including page speed optimization, structured data, meta tagging, and information hierarchy.
  • Ability to accept and apply feedback constructively while iterating quickly.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Self-starter mentality with a proactive, problem-solving approach to design challenges.

Requirements

  • Risk-takers: You’ve got ample room to fail and no time to play it safe.
  • Endlessly curious: You never hesitate to ask “why” and tirelessly seek out innovative solutions.
  • Expert collaborators: You are equally comfortable working side-by-side with executive stakeholders, technical and non-technical colleagues as you are with fellow creatives.
  • Craftspeople: You have a well-practiced eye for detail & aesthetics, always looking for ways to improve the project.
  • Radically scrappy: You thrive in ambiguity and won’t hesitate to get exactly what you need to keep moving ahead. You can get stuff done!
  • Pro Organizers: Whether it’s brainstorming notes, project details or the gear you use on a daily basis, you take pride in being as organized as possible.
  • Team-players: Our secret sauce is our team dynamic; we don’t have time for egos.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with Strapi, WordPress, or other CMS platforms.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO testing tools.
  • Motion design or animation experience for interactive web elements.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation packages including base, equity, and benefits.
  • Base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $135,000.
  • Equity: Employees receive equity in Fetch.
  • 401k Match: Dollar-for-dollar match up to 4%.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental and vision plans for everyone including pets.
  • Continuing Education: $10,000 per year in education reimbursement.
  • Employee Resource Groups: Participate in employee-led groups fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Paid Time Off: Flexible PTO and 9 paid holidays, including Juneteenth and Indigenous People’s Day.
  • Robust Leave Policies: 20 weeks of paid parental leave for primary caregivers, 14 weeks for secondary caregivers.
  • Calvin Care Cash: $2,000 incentive for employees welcoming new family members.
