[Hiring] UX/UI Conversion Specialist @Kapitus

4d ago - Kapitus is hiring a remote UX/UI Conversion Specialist. 💸 Salary: usd 62,800 - 100,800 per year 📍Location: USA

Role Description

Kapitus is seeking a highly skilled, data-driven, and user-obsessed UX/UI Conversion Specialist to join our Marketing team. This individual will own the design, development, and continuous optimization of Kapitus' landing pages, forms, and conversion pathways — with a relentless focus on turning traffic into qualified leads and improving the end-to-end digital experience for prospective customers.

The ideal candidate is equal parts designer and analyst — someone who understands the nuances of human behavior and decision-making online, and who leverages that understanding alongside performance data to build digital experiences that convert. This is a hands-on, execution-oriented role for someone who takes pride in the details and is energized by measurable impact.

What you’ll do:

  • Conversion Optimization Strategy
    • Own the strategy and execution of Kapitus' conversion rate optimization (CRO) program across all digital touchpoints, including landing pages, lead capture forms, and application entry points.
    • Develop and maintain a structured testing roadmap, prioritizing experiments based on traffic volume, business impact, and behavioral insights.
    • Analyze conversion funnel performance to identify friction points, drop-off patterns, and optimization opportunities.
    • Leverage data, heatmaps, session recordings, and user behavior analysis to inform design and UX decisions.
    • Partner with the Lead Generation team to ensure conversion pathways are aligned with campaign traffic sources, audience segments, and sales division needs.
    • Establish and report on core CRO KPIs, including conversion rate by page, form completion rate, cost-per-lead, and A/B test performance.
  • Landing Page Design & Development
    • Design, build, and maintain high-converting landing pages within WordPress, ensuring a seamless experience from ad click to form submission.
    • Translate campaign briefs, audience insights, and brand guidelines into compelling, conversion-focused page experiences.
    • Scope, source, and integrate WordPress plugins, third-party tools, and custom functionality to enhance landing page performance and capability.
    • Ensure all landing pages are mobile-optimized, fast-loading, and technically sound across devices and browsers.
    • Manage the full landing page lifecycle — from concept and design through development, QA, launch, and post-launch optimization.
    • Maintain a library of tested, reusable landing page templates and components to support campaign scalability.
  • Form Design & Optimization
    • Design, build, and continuously optimize lead capture forms with a focus on reducing friction, improving completion rates, and maintaining data quality.
    • Apply UX best practices and behavioral principles to form structure, field sequencing, microcopy, and visual design.
    • Test and iterate on form length, field types, CTAs, progressive profiling, and conditional logic to improve performance.
    • Ensure forms are properly integrated with HubSpot and Salesforce, with accurate field mapping, lead routing, and data capture.
    • Partner with sales and operations stakeholders to balance form completeness with user experience and conversion efficiency.
  • UX/UI Design
    • Apply UX/UI design principles to all digital conversion assets, ensuring a consistent, intuitive, and on-brand user experience.
    • Conduct UX audits of existing pages, forms, and conversion flows to identify experience gaps and improvement opportunities.
    • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups to communicate concepts and gather stakeholder feedback prior to development.
    • Factor human behavior, cognitive load, visual hierarchy, and persuasive design principles into every design decision.
    • Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG) and provide an inclusive experience across all user types.
  • Testing, Analytics & Insights
    • Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests across landing pages, forms, CTAs, and conversion elements.
    • Leverage GA4, HubSpot, and other analytics and behavior tools to monitor performance and extract actionable insights.
    • Translate test results and performance data into clear recommendations and implement winning variations efficiently.
    • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that communicate conversion performance to marketing leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
    • Stay current on CRO methodologies, UX trends, and emerging tools to ensure Kapitus remains at the forefront of digital conversion best practices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate closely with the Lead Generation, Content, and AI & Brand Visibility teams to ensure conversion assets are aligned with campaign goals and audience strategies.
    • Partner with sales division stakeholders to understand customer profiles, objections, and journey nuances that should inform landing page and form design.
    • Work with internal and external development resources to scope and implement technical requirements for landing page functionality.
    • Contribute to broader website optimization efforts in collaboration with relevant marketing and technology stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in UX/UI Design, Marketing, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, conversion rate optimization, or digital marketing with a strong focus on landing pages and lead generation forms.
  • Demonstrated track record of improving conversion rates through data-informed design and structured experimentation.
  • Proficiency in WordPress, including page building, plugin integration, and troubleshooting within a CMS environment.
  • Strong UX/UI design skills with experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or equivalent.
  • Experience integrating and configuring WordPress plugins and third-party tools to extend landing page and form functionality.
  • Solid understanding of A/B and multivariate testing methodologies and platforms (e.g., Google Optimize, VWO, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and HubSpot; experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Experience with user behavior analytics tools such as Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of human behavior, persuasive design, and cognitive principles as applied to digital experiences.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS; ability to make minor front-end edits without developer support is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and mobile-first design principles.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and make confident, evidence-based decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present design rationale and test findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Benefits

  • Competitive Base Salary Range of $62,800-$100,800. The applicant’s final salary will depend on a number of factors including the applicant’s geographic location, skills, and experience.
  • Annual Incentive Compensation Eligibility – Up to 10% annually.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and employer-paid vision plans through UnitedHealthcare (UHC), with various coverage levels available.
  • Flexible Spending Account for qualified out-of-pocket medical, dental, vision, pharmacy or dependent care expenses.
  • Employer sponsored post-tax Lifestyle Spending Account for reimbursement of expenses related to physical, mental and financial well-being.
  • 100% Company Paid Insurances including basic short-term and long-term disability insurance, as well as vision insurance.

  • Paid Time Off and Sick Time.
  • 401K plan with a 25% match on contributions, up to 6% of annual salary.
