Role Description
This is a short-term contract for two months, with the possibility of extension. The research will address a forward-looking industry topic, offering candidates the chance to gain practical experience in an area of growing importance and relevance.
Our cross-functional research team brings together quantitative researchers, qualitative researchers, and data analysts, ensuring data-driven insights guide strategic decisions. We collaborate closely with Product, Design, Marketing, and Engineering, using a mix of methodologies to understand user needs from multiple perspectives. Our structured workflows, stakeholder workshops, and centralized knowledge-sharing practices help us integrate research seamlessly into the product development process. Responsibilities and Duties

Lead a diverse research program that strives to understand customer preferences.

Work closely with the product and design teams to build research plans that answer key questions and provide actionable insights.

Identify the best methods for user research based on stakeholder questions, goals, and timelines.

Partner with quantitative researchers, product analysts, and UAT engineers to ensure that every research initiative is informed by accurate, relevant, and comprehensive data.

Work cross-functionally with design, product management, engineering, e-commerce, and marketing to communicate results and recommendations.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, Sociology, Marketing, or a related field.

3+ years of professional experience working specifically in a User Experience Researcher role.

Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative UX Research methods (user interviews, usability tests, surveys, lab studies, diary studies, desirability studies, etc.).

Experience conducting full cycle research (study design, user research recruiting, moderation, analysis, and reporting).

Strong written and verbal communications skills across all levels of an organization.

Organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.

At least Upper-Intermediate level of spoken and written English.
Requirements

Experience in quantitative data analysis and statistics (nice to have).

PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, Sociology, or a related field (nice to have).

Portfolio demonstrating past deliverables (e.g., study plans, reports) (nice to have).

Experience working with survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics, Survey Monkey) (nice to have).

Experience working with remote user testing tools (e.g., usertesting.com, Dscout, Maze, User Zoom) (nice to have).
