Role Description
We are looking for a UX Researcher to join our User Experience team on a maternity cover basis. The candidate will be part of an agile team and work directly with designers, developers, data analysts, business stakeholders, and product owners.
- Define the methodologies to gather user needs
- Perform analyses
- Collaborate with the team to define prototypes to test with final users
- Validate hypotheses
- Define and evolve the final product
The candidate should be conscious of their impact on the product and activities within a multidisciplinary team, capable of evaluating and recommending the right methodologies and tools based on each situation.
To work on a product used by millions daily, the candidate needs a strong passion to constantly inquire, understand, and monitor users’ habits and needs in a structured way, and the ability to communicate this information to the team.
Working in an agile team, the candidate will have a lean approach, using qualitative and quantitative methodologies, suggesting measurable goals related to KPIs and merging analyses with business and data insights.
We are looking for a talented, passionate, and curious person with outstanding communication skills.
Qualifications
- Background in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Web Design, Communication, Cognitive Science or a related field
- 3+ years of active experience in the role
- Experience in digital product management will be a huge advantage
Requirements
- Background in qualitative and quantitative research
- Deep understanding of different research methodologies, and when to apply them
- Analytical approach with a focus on business impact and user experience
- Excellent knowledge of different research and UX methodologies
- Awareness of product development stages from the exploration phase to design, technical development, testing, and delivery
- Usability test conduction and planning both on-site and remotely
- Workshop design and conduction
- Lean approach
- Collaborative mindset
- Experience in designing wireframes and prototypes
- Excellent ability to document and communicate reports and insights
- Fluency in English
