Role Description
Weβre building and scaling a high-growth D2C product used by hundreds of thousands of customers globally, and are now entering a phase where UX becomes a core growth lever. Weβre adding new products, expanding capabilities, and focusing on improving retention, activation, and funnel performance.
Weβre looking for a UX Lead who will take full ownership of design, user experience, and research β not as a support function but as a core driver of product and business performance. Today, design is mostly engineered directly in the frontend, and UX research lacks structure and direction. You will change that.
This is not a 9β5 role. Itβs a high-ownership, high-impact position for someone who wants to build systems, lead people, and directly influence product growth.
What Youβll Do
-
Take full ownership of UX, design quality, and user journeys across the product.
-
Define and enforce a clear, scalable design system (even if implemented directly in frontend, not Figma-first).
-
Lead and manage designers and frontend engineers involved in UI/UX work.
-
Turn UX into a measurable growth lever, improving activation, retention, and conversion.
-
Work closely with Product and Growth to design and optimize funnels, onboarding, and monetization flows.
-
Establish a structured approach to UX research, including:
-
defining research priorities,
-
running surveys and interviews,
-
extracting actionable insights.
-
Take ownership of data-driven UX decisions:
-
analyze product analytics (Mixpanel, Clarity, etc.),
-
identify patterns and friction points,
-
define hypotheses and experiments.
-
Proactively request and define new analytics/reporting needs with the data team.
-
Audit and continuously improve the end-to-end user journey β from acquisition to retention.
Qualifications
-
Strong design background with experience leading or managing designers.
-
Ability to define and maintain a consistent, high-quality design system.
-
Proven ability to collect both qualitative and quantitative user insights.
-
Experience designing and running user interviews, surveys, and research frameworks.
-
Ability to turn research into clear product decisions.
-
Strong ability to analyze product data independently.
-
Comfortable working with tools like Mixpanel, Clarity, or similar.
-
Ability to identify patterns, define hypotheses, and request deeper analysis from data teams.
-
5β8+ years in UX/Product Design, ideally in D2C, SaaS, or consumer digital products.
-
Experience working in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
-
Strong understanding of conversion, retention, and user behavior.
-
Systems thinker β designs scalable patterns, not one-off screens.
-
Comfortable working in environments where design is implemented directly in frontend.
-
Clear communicator, able to explain why behind decisions.
-
Strong ownership mindset β you take responsibility for outcomes, not just output.
Requirements
-
Experience in LegalTech, document tools, or utility products.
-
Background in CRO (conversion rate optimization).
-
Experience working closely with engineering-led teams.
-
Exposure to A/B testing frameworks and experimentation systems.
